Mohammed Yousif (born 1990, Khanaqeen, Kurdistan Region of Iraq) is a Lecturer in the Department of Information Technology, College of Computer and Information Technology, University of Garmian, and a PhD candidate in Distributed Computing at the University of Sulaimani. He holds an MSc in Computer Science from the same university. Since 2019, he has served as Director of the Computer and Information Technology Center at the University of Garmian, leading key initiatives in digital transformation and technological development. With over 12 years of experience in higher education and research, he has published more than 25 papers in high-impact journals and was ranked among the top ten influential researchers at his university in 2024 and 2025. He has chaired or contributed to 70+ committees, delivered 25+ keynote talks, and reviewed for 30+ international journals. His research focuses on cloud computing security, deep learning, and AI applications in medicine.
